Arthur Szyk (1894–1951) was a Poland-born American artist, famous for his anti-
Axis political illustrations and cartoons during World War II. In collaboration with
the Museum’s skillful exhibition team, a system was developed that combined
various faces from Szyk’s work with a blue logo square. The result was a lively,
kinetic identity that directed visitors throughout the building and exhibition gallery
as well as to the Museum itself.
